Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers about getting started, sessions, privacy, and payment. Don't see your question? We're glad to help.

How do I get started?

Reach out by phone or through our contact form and we’ll help match you with a clinician who fits your needs. We’ll walk you through scheduling your first appointment and what to expect. Please don’t include any health details in the contact form — we’ll gather that securely once you’re a client.

Do you offer telehealth (online) sessions?

Yes. We offer secure video sessions through our HIPAA-compliant doxy.me platform, so you can meet with your therapist from anywhere in Illinois. No app or account is required — you’ll receive a simple link to join.

Do you accept insurance?

We work with several insurance plans and can discuss your coverage and rates when you contact us. If we’re out of network for your plan, we’re happy to provide documentation you can submit for possible reimbursement. Please call us to confirm the specifics for your situation.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is protected under HIPAA and Illinois law. What you discuss in sessions stays confidential, with a few narrow legal exceptions your therapist will explain. This website itself collects no health information — please keep personal health details out of the contact form.

What happens in the first session?

Your first session is a chance to get to know each other. Your therapist will ask about what brings you in, your history, and your goals, and will answer any questions about the process. There’s no pressure — it’s a collaborative conversation to make sure you feel comfortable moving forward.

What ages do you work with?

Our clinicians work with all ages — young children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. When you contact us, we’ll match you with a therapist who has the right experience for you or your family member.

Ready to take the first step?

Reaching out takes courage. We'll help you find the right therapist and get started — at your pace.
